Frying Pan Jack

What You Need

  • Thin Sausages
  • Lean Bacon
  • A little Cooking Oil
  • Potatoes
  • 2 large onions
  • Gravy Granuals
  • Bread
 

Lesley & Cally’s See Pie

What you need

  • 2lb of Stewing steak
  • 1lb Minced beef
  • Potatoes, carrots, swede, onions
  • Gravy granuals & Oxo
  • For Pastry: 6oz self raising flour, 3oz butter, pinch of salt

Gypsy Bread

What You Need

  • 2 large handfulls of self raising flower
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 heaped tablespoon of margerine
  • a little water
  • What to do
  • Place flour & salt in a large bowl
  • Rub in margarine & mix well
  • Add a little water to make a dough and need well
  • Shape into a bread cake (about half an inch thick)
  • Warm a heavy frying pan over a low heat
  • Dust frying pan with flower to prevent sticking
  • Place bread in pan and bake slowly
  • when light brown underneath, turn & bake on the other side

To Serve

Cut walm Gypsy bread in half and spread with butter, soft cheese or jam
